comment (0) ok, i packed my bag really quickly and early day 1: we left for malaysia. car-ed to my grandpa's place and taxi-ed to golden mile erm, let's see got off at singapor customs and queued up cause i'm not 16 and neither do i have the fingerprint thing. the guy was like marissa? and i was like errr natalie and he was like natalie marissa? and i had to say yes which was quite funny :D at the malaysia customs i was told to change my picture ): it's really sad cause i look so cute in my passport hahaha then i slept on the bus to KL and i woke up. nothing unusual there. oh yes, then i looked out of the windows and all i saw, were lots and lots and lots of oil palms. i couldn't sleep again, which made sense cause i'd slept for a few hours so i ate a ham sandwich and a hard-boiled egg (: yum. sat on the bus for a long time and i didn't dare to drink too much water cause the bus like didn't really stop it didn't even stop at yongpeng! i mean who doesn't stop at yongpeng? (apart from the bus i took =.=) we got off somewhere i can't remember the name, and ate lunch the thai rice was yummy and i love the way the prawns were cooked they were like firm but crispy very tasty. then we took a van to our hotel, we planned to walk there but with the luggage and all... then we checked in and we found out that our rooms were on the smoking floor it stank ): and the view wasn't nice all we saw were some really old dirty buildings and the rooms were tiny. so we waited while my parents went to ask if we could change rooms and then we went to check out our new rooms on the non smoking floor i tell you, the air was super sweet :3 and from one room you could see the petronas towers and it was much brighter, even the room looked bigger only bummer: the rooms were located quite far from each other and one room faced an opposite hotel but it was not bad (: the times square hotel and the westin were much much better though. and then we walked out to BB plaza i had a tummyache and after the toilet i couldn't find them nor could i reach them on my sister's phone and i finally found them outside metrojaya they were also pretty worried when they couldn't find me.. we ate at some place where the food was really good i wanted to try the lok lok thing one of those roadside steamboat like stalls where they have food on a stick and you dip it into the boiling thing but erm we didn't try ): anyway, after that we wanted to go to F.O.S which i mistakenly thought was at sungei wang and we tried to look for sungei wang =.= in the end, we ended up at lot 10 which looks quite sad cause they hardly have any christmas decorations. and then we walked back to the hotel. i love the pillows there, they're like so soft :3 |
