christmas

whoo christmas!
i love christmas dinners!
so i went to my grandparent's place for dinner,
meaning my other grandparents'
and we found our unopened tub of sour cream
in their fridge,
cause we'd left it there
and for some reason forgot all about it.

and when we checked it,
we found that the best before date was on the 21st dec 2008
which made me really sore
cause it was only a matter of a few days
and the tub wasn't even opened.

anyway, i still wanted to eat it
and there was this notion of potatoes and sour cream
:3 yum

how to have potatoes and sour cream:
wash potatoes
make an x on them
put them into the oven and bake until cooked
a.k.a until their jackets start to split
take them out and spoon sour cream onto em
shake bacon bits all over (optional)

my dad kind of agreed because on the container,
it said best before
and not expiring
on the 21st
so i scrubbed the potatoes
but since i couldn't use the oven cause it was needed
to warm up the turkey and ham
we decided to boil them
and then all of a sudden,
it was decided that it was bad to eat sour cream
best before the 21st.
so we were to make potato mash instead =.=

so my mum chopped them all up threw them into the pot and boiled them.

they were cooked just the texture i like em to be
so i didnt want to mash em
so, we left them as that and i brought my cousins to the swings at the park.

so we competed see who could swing the highest
they're all younger than me you see,
and then we had a twister competiton
a twister on a swing is basically to sit on a swing and
go round and round so that the chain twists
and then you stop twisting, sit back, and start spinning
round and round
if you've twisted enough,
you spin, and the chain might twist itself
because of the momentum
so whoever's chain twists the mosts after spinning is the winner.
it's awesomely fun :3

anyway, i helped to twist my cousin
and soon he was like hovering above the ground
my brother helped my other cousin
and then we let go and they went spinning.

after a while, we got tired
and we went back
almost just in time for dinner.

i love ham especially at christmas
its so wonderfully succulent :3 yeah!
turkey was awesome!
we had beef, also awesome!
salad was tasty (i eat my veggies, but cooked ones are nicer)
and a lot a lot of food :3
watched tv after dinner
and played darts,
magnetic darts
and because the board was hung on the inner gate,
we kept shooting the darts through the holes :D
it was quite retarded (:

then we watched tv while the others went to play sparklers
after a while
i got bored and i went to play sparklers too
they kept trying to set fire to anything that would burn
because we didn't have a candle
and the wind kept blowing the matches out
in the end we managed to light one
and then we lit from that sparkler
but they still kept trying to burn things.
then i went back while the others stayed in the park
cause i had nothing to do.

finally i went back to the park with my other cousin
and she was like
why'd you go there, come back and then go there again
so i told her: cause i was bored (:
and she was like, ok
then we went to the swings cause some of my other cousins went back
and there was space.
so we swung
and then we played freeze and melt
which is rather kiddy
but i was bored
anyway, my cousin whose older than me was playing too
so there (:
but it was fun anyway.

ice cream later (:
and fruits
and tv
and presents
and home (:

oh yeah,
cause i didn't bring my phone with me,
i got sharon's message late
and it was like merry christmas
but since it was one+
it wasn't christmas,
and i couldn't say merry christmas,
so it was merry boxing day!

sent a merry boxing day message to arielene
and she was like
haha, there are 12 days of christmas
so merry christmas
