comment (0) oh well. the sky was gorgeous yesterday. did you see? in the afternoon? that awesome infinity of blue? and the broken pieces of white? it was like a giant jigsaw puzzle; bits and pieces cobbled together; somehow perfect in its own weird and wonderful way. i've finished the book thief its a nice book perhaps i'm being to vague but nice it is. one part of it reads "One was a book thief The other stole the sky" and all under the label of "A NICE THOUGHT" steal the sky " A LOVELY THOUGHT that's better. i didn't see the sky today maybe a bit it peeked out at me from behind a couple of blocks dark periwinkle pretty a mix between this colour and this colour but that was later this afternoon and not during school which means: 1. i didn't look at the sky in school 2. it rained or was about to rain anyway, i received my exam papers today: 1. 2. 3. 4. erm: one A/ three Bs guess which one if you feel you really must. it wasn't as cold as expected. to talk about yesterday we learnt how to remember and i still remember: 40 words from the day before twin towers/ hot air balloon/ elephant/ flowers/ tent/ rocket/ lorry/ jackie chan/ ladder/ camel/ noodles/ monkey/ washing machine/ burger/ CD/ MRT/cat/ umbrella/ chair/ queen (20 words in order: only showing 20/40 words i remembered) i remembered the above through a story. we learnt how: From behind the twin towers rose a hot air balloon in which an elephant holding a bunch of flowers stood in a tent shaped like a rocket. It suddenly turned into a lorry from which jackie chan ran out and climbed onto a ladder, dropping onto a camel eating noodles. A monkey stole the noodles and hid in a washing machine out of which came a burger with a CD. It was brought onto the MRT and was eyed by a cat with an umbrella sitting beside the chair the Queen fell on. but to tell you the truth, this most likely won't work in helping me memorise the textbook. why? cause it's awfully difficult to make a joke out of the truth. which may be bleak. take history for example, how would you make the fact that thousands were massacred and tortured during world war 2 funny? it's not a joke. it's not funny in the least. righto. tomorrow is: 5. history} 6.geog} not in any particular order 7.science} 8. home econs} dread colours the sky gray tinged with black maybe red and orange with huge (definitely not white)clouds to boot more bout the sky tomorrow it's time to steal the sky and paint out the colours |
