when i woke this morning,
the sky was white.

i felt just like that.
blank.

only when i made my breakfast did the feelings come
but they weren't exactly the best
cause i went on a killing spree
hoho. i think i know what you're thinking
but i think you're wrong.
i got irritated at the ants.
they were probably looking for a new route to take
but i'm guessing that they aren't likely to take it again
cause it was an ant massacre

i should like to wipe the whole lot of them out.
but they are awfully sneaky
and small
so half the time i don't really see them
but it irks me when i see the whole crowd of them.
swarming around this tiny bit of food.
please, don't invade our privacy and call your troops over a tiny bit of food
go to the rubbish dump
plenty of leftovers there.

anyway,
being tall(er) is sad
in a way.

now,
the things that used to be so exciting
have become..
normal

my grandma has a pretty shell
i never really knew it existed
she keeps it on a shelf
when i was young
it was difficult to see it
i was short.
stepping on a chair,
i managed to catch a glimpse of it
i thought that it was my imagination
ah well.
i was wrong.

it does exist.
but the only way to find out,
was to grow.
and i did.

its depressing really
when that great mystery
is cracked and solved

the logic of it is so warped:
that urge to rise to the top
the dismay when you realise you've probably come to the top already.

this feeling, feels blue and white
like the sky
stretching on and on
endless yawning
it is a sense of emptiness

but then again swinging higher and higher at twilight
into the sky
is in essence,
and awesome sensation
what with all the colours rushing at you
and the leaves starting to be
lost
in the wind
you've probably stirred up.
