my yesterdays are almost done

yesterday was yesterday.
yesterday was a good day.
yesterday, i went for a shooting competition :D
and then we found the truth.
sheryl can never speak bad of the devil
or she'd arrive.. heheh
which is slightly scary :))
cause she pops out of nowhere
even on the bus when we didnt see her...
until we got off to be exact :))

anyway, we went to yishun Safra
and they always have some sort of awesome smelling, often tasty food ^^
they had these cute cupcakes, and the chicken wings looked like something to die for
but i didnt eat,
partly because i guess i was rather paranoid,
and afraid that i'll get a tummy ache halfway through the competition,
or maybe i didn't feel like eating,
or maybe its the stupid attitude of the guy who opened the armoury for us,
i hate his attitude!
he got this stupid black face cause we interupted his date with his stupid banana pudding,
omg i felt like telling him to go stuff his face in something D<

anyway, i put on my suit and started dryfiring at lane 19, detail 4,
at first i was slightly nervous,
then i guess i calmed down
the atmosphere was quite ok, not as tense as i expected,
then the competition started,
the opening part with all the welcomes was so long,
but i didnt feel like telling the guy to shut up,
cause i needed all the time in the world to dryfire.
so i dryfired for extra 5 mins, then i started sighting
my second sighting card was good :)
but its not counted anyway...

then i think i felt like sighting forever too,
there wasnt much pressure, cause the pple in front of and behind me were still sighting as well, then i continued,
on my 4th card i got scared cause it wasnt grouped,
but by then the pple in front of and behind me were shooting their competition cards, so i freaked out and shot my competition card.
i got a 10!
then i shot my next one, like probably an 8 or 9, cant remember
then i continued shooting.
and i realised that because i shot seven shots on my 4th sighting card, i would have 3 shots left on every row of the pellet box after every 10 shots :(
im sorry, but things like that make me feel unhappy.
haha, lols :)

then like i was afraid there wouldnt be enough time to finish shooting all 40 cards, so i didnt dryfire much.
also, i think i was shaking, so i wasnt sure how to sight my rifle :0
then the person behind me got called out by her coach
i felt alright cause i thought that that wasnt likely to happen to me cause, i thought no one was scoping me and coach wasnt behind me anyway :)
but boss was somewhere near the entrance/ exit, kinda near my lane, but she was probably looking at samantha's shots.

then i accidently shot a 6-7 in betweener, sheesh, i got worried, but my next shot was a 10, so u see, i wasn't sure how to sight....
i didnt dare to dryfire much either, in case there wasnt enough time.
in the end i finished faster than the pple in front of and behind me :)
there was like 10 more minutes left,
i finished faster than samantha and dezi though.
then boss spoke to me.
turns out she got ms hau/ how/hao/haw
to scope me, im so glad i didnt know until the end of the competition
or i'll have more pressure :)
then she said that i did quite well and then she asked me how i thought my shots were, so i said better than during training :)
which is true cause i rarely got 10s during training :)
then she asked me what my personal best was
and i couldnt answer cause this was my 2nd competition ever
and the previous one i got 337 outta 400
so i didnt really know what my personal best was :0
turns out they calculated, and i got 368 outta 400 for my results :D
YAY!
368- 337= 31
so i improved by 31 marks :)

then i waddled out,
my shoes always make me feel like a giant :D
fee-fi-fo-fum, im coming out!

we didnt stay long enough to see the actual results :0
so i dont know my ranking..
but its ok :))
this is the bestest ever :D

oh yes, in the goodie bags, we got stuff :)
and then we got 2 teenage magazines from feb and march
which is better than last year according to those who went for the nus shoot
cause last year they apparently got some porno magazine.

then later in the evening i went for mass,
and i saw 3 brothers becoming ordained into priests :)
it was cool, they had to sign this special document, all the franciscan friars i mean including the 3 newly ordained priests,
then after their vows,
they all hugged each other,
so sweet, but wow, it was a lot of hugs :))

actually, it was also celebrating the 50th anniversary of the franciscan order in singapore :)
we got lillies, actually, we could have like waited for the blessing over st anthony's bread,
but because we'd double parked, we had to rush off so we couldnt stay,
but there were some pple who were in front and who had double parked,
who stayed, so we waited longer, for them to come up.
so inconsiderate!

then we went to adams road for cheng teng and food, cause we didnt eat dinner :) i shared carrot cake :) and then we got home at 12+ :D
so yah, my yesterdays are almost done :)
but the future holds a lot of hw for me....
